[¶0] “Pack of Orders” is read in even segments, as if being fed to an apparatus.

> Russian: «Пачка ордеров» читается ровными отрезками, как бы сдаваемыми на аппарат.

[¶1] The reading must contain no expression, pathos, false-classical elevation or emphatic passages of high emotion.

> Russian: В читке не должно быть экспрессии, пафоса, ложно-классической приподнятости и ударных патетических мест.

[¶2] Words and phrases follow one another at a single speed.

> Russian: Слова и фразы следуют друг за другом одной скоростью.

[¶3] A heavy action is in progress, and the “pack” is given to the listener as a libretto for material events.

> Russian: Идет грузное действие, и «пачка» дается слушателю как либретто вещевых событий.

[¶4] Order 05 may be read by a simultaneous reader; the phrases are delivered with long pauses, calculated to span the time of Orders 01–09. Order 10 is read at the end by the first reader alone.
