[¶0] 1 Celebrate ye Jehovah; invoke his name: Announce among the peoples his works.

[¶1] 2 Sing ye to him: sing psalms to him: Speak of all his wonders.

[¶2] 3 Rejoice ye in his holy name: Rejoice let the heart of those who seek Jehovah.

[¶3] 4 Seek ye Jehovah, and his strength; Seek his face continually.

[¶4] 5 Remember the marvelous works which he hath done; His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth.

[¶5] 6 Ye seed of Abraham, his servant, The sons of Jacob his chosen one:

[¶6] 7 He is Jehovah our God; Through all the earth are his judgments.

[¶7] 8 He hath remembered for ever his covenant, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations:

[¶8] 9 Which he made with Abraham, And his oath which he swore to Isaac;

[¶9] 10 And established it to Jacob for a law, To Israel for an everlasting covenant:

[¶10] 11 Saying, “To thee will I give the land of Canaan, “The cord of your inheritance.”

[¶11] 12 When they were very few in number; And strangers in it;

[¶12] 13 And walked about from nation to nation, From one kingdom to another people,

[¶13] 14 He did not suffer men to hurt them; And rebuked for their sake kings;

[¶14] 15 Saying, “Touch not my anointed ones, “And to my prophets do no harm.”

[¶15] 16 And he called a famine upon the land; All the stall of bread he broke.

[¶16] 17 He sent before them a man, For a slave sold was Joseph.

[¶17] 18 They afflicted in the fetters his feet: The iron entered into his soul:

[¶18] 19 Until the time that his word came: The word of Jehovah tried him.

[¶19] 20 Send did the king and loosed him; Even the ruler of the peoples, and freed him.

[¶20] 21 He made him lord over his house; And ruler over all his substance:

[¶21] 22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; And to teach his elders wisdom.

[¶22] 23 And come did Israel into Egypt; And Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

[¶23] 24 And he increased his people exceedingly, He multiplied them above their oppressors.

[¶24] 25 He turned their heart so that they hated his people, And dealt craftily with his servants.

[¶25] 26 He sent Moses, his servant; Aaron, whom he chose.

[¶26] 27 They set among them the words of his signs, And his miracles in the land of Ham.

[¶27] 28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; And they were not rebellious against his words.

[¶28] 29 He turned their waters into blood, And killed their fish.

[¶29] 30 Their land brought forth frogs, Yea even within the chambers of their kings.

[¶30] 31 He spake and there came a swarm of flies, Lice in all their borders.

[¶31] 32 He gave them for rain, hail, Flaming fire upon their land.

[¶32] 33 And he smote their vines and their fig-trees; And destroyed every tree of their border.

[¶33] 34 He spake, and there came the locust, And the caterpillar without number;

[¶34] 35 And they devoured all the herbage in their land, And consumed the fruit of their ground.

[¶35] 36 And he smote all the firstborn in their land, The beginning of all their strength.

[¶36] 37 And he brought them forth with silver and gold: And not one among their tribes was a feeble person.

[¶37] 38 Glad was Egypt at their departure; For fallen upon them had their terror.

[¶38] 39 He spread out a cloud for a covering; And fire to give light by the night.

[¶39] 40 He asked, and brought quails, And with the bread of heaven he filled them.

[¶40] 41 He opened the rock, and there gushed out waters; They ran in the dry places like a river.

[¶41] 42 For he remembered the word of his holiness, Which he had spoken to Abraham his servant.

[¶42] 43 And he brought forth his people with joy, With exultation his chosen ones.

[¶43] 44 And he gave them the lands of the nations: And the labor of the peoples they inherited.

[¶44] 45 That they might keep his ordinances, And that his law they might observe. Hallelujah.
