[¶0] Hallelujah

[¶1] 1 Praise ye the name of Jehovah; Praise [it] O ye servants of Jehovah!

[¶2] 2 Who stand in the house of Jehovah, [And ye who stand] in the courts of the house of our God.

[¶3] 3 Praise God; for good is Jehovah: Sing to his name; for it is pleasant:

[¶4] 4 For God hath chosen Jacob to himself, Israel for his own possession.

[¶5] 5 For I know that great is Jehovah, And that our God is above all gods.

[¶6] 6 All things which Jehovah pleaseth, he doeth in the heavens and on the earth, In the sea and in all the deeps.

[¶7] 7 Causing the clouds to ascend from the end of the earth: The lightnings for the rain he maketh, Bringing forth the wind out of his secret places.

[¶8] 8 He smote the first born of Egypt, From man even unto beast.

[¶9] 9 He sent signs and wonders in the midst of thee, O Egypt! On Pharaoh and on all his servants.

[¶10] 10 He smote great nations, And slew mighty kings.

[¶11] 11 Sihon, king of the Amorites, And Og the king of Basham, And all the kingdoms of Canaan.

[¶12] 12 And gave their land for an heritage, An heritage to Israel, his people.

[¶13] 13 O Jehovah! thy name is for ever; O Jehovah! thy memorial is from generation to generation.

[¶14] 14 For judge will Jehovah his people, And concerning his servants he will repent himself.

[¶15] 15 The images of the nations are silver and gold, The work of the hands of man.

[¶16] 16 A mouth have they, and they will not speak; Eyes have they, and they will not see.

[¶17] 17 Ears have they, and they will not hear: Also, there is no breath in their mouth.

[¶18] 18 Like unto them are those who make them, And every one who trusteth in them.

[¶19] 19 O house of Israel! bless ye Jehovah; O house of Aaron! bless ye Jehovah;

[¶20] 20 O house of Levi! bless ye Jehovah; O ye who fear Jehovah! bless ye Jehovah.

[¶21] 21 Blessed be Jehovah out of Zion, Who dwelleth at Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
