In it — the whole future of our RSFSR.

It is full of fire and daring.
Она полна огня и отваги.
If to this fire, if to this daring we managed to give holding-out [endurance, tempering] and knack, we would be the most cultured, the most invincible force in the world.
Если бы этому огню, если бы этой отваге мы сумели дать выдержку и сноровку, мы были бы самой культурной, самой непобедимой силой в мире.
Knack and holding-out must first of all be in your working hands, in your walking legs [feet]. It will automatically give holding-out and knack to your head: we shall create firm, volitional [strong-willed] and at the same time held-out men.
Сноровка и выдержка прежде всего должна быть в ваших работающих руках, в ваших ходящих ногах. Она автоматически даст выдержку и сноровку вашей голове: мы создадим твердых, волевых и в то же время выдержанных людей.
In the pamphlet are given articles, printed in Pravda and Economic Life, in which I, to the measure of [my] forces, hammered [chiselled] away at one point.
В брошюре даны статьи, напечатанные в «Правде» и «Экономической Жизни», в которых я, по мере сил, долбил в одну точку.
And, if by these lines I managed to create even ten new “hammerers” [chisellers, those who keep hammering at one point] apiece in every city, I would consider my task fulfilled.
И, если бы мне этими строками удалось создать хотя бы по десятку новых «долбежников» в каждом городе, я считал бы свою задачу выполненной.
